CLAIMING THAT her Railway budget was 'For the people, of the people and by the people', mercurial Trinamul Congress chief and railway minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday (July 3), said that old mindset of economic viability should be substituted by social viability
Presenting the railway budget in the Parliament on Friday, Banerjee called for giving a human face to the railways and upliftment of the downtrodden. She said that under her stewardship, railways will attempt to provide quality services to the commuters that include better food services, drinking water, clean stations and trains and security.
